Term of validity and renewal of trademark

There is no official degree fee in Denmark. As of 1 January 2019, trademarks in Denmark are valid for ten years from the date of application and can be renewed for a period of ten years. The 10-year validity period of trademarks registered before January 1, 2019, is still counted from the date of registration. Renewal requests will be made by payment of the prescribed fees to the Danish Patent and Trademark Office within six months prior to the expiration of the registration period or within the six-month renewal period.
