Advance China IP Law Office, also known as “ACIP”, is an award-winning full-service IP law office founded by some of the first IP-law practitioners of China. When started in 1999, the co-founders decided to build a law firm that was honest, efficient, professional, and aggressive. In 2018, ACIP has become one of the largest IP law firms in China consisting of about 900 IP professionals, helping clients from all over the globe to obtain and protect their intellectual property rights including Patent, Trademark, Copyright, and Domain Name in China and other countries.
ACIP has four main branch offices located in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, which handle domestic and international patent applications. A few more branches are also stationed in smaller but highly innovative and thriving cities such as Suzhou, Hangzhou, Changsha, Dongguan, and Xi’an. A U.S. representative office was set up in San Francisco in 2012 and moved to Silicon Valley in 2018 for the purpose of communication and coordination with international partners and clients.

The litigation team is assisted by our highly-experienced patent invalidation team in Beijing office close to China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), consisting of a group offormer patent/trademark Re-Examination Board Examiners and technical experts, for quick action of attack or defence of patent in dispute.
